About Joy of Yoga

The Origin of Our Community Yoga Studio

Our small community yoga studio began as a humble vision shared by a group of passionate and dedicated yoga practitioners. It all started in 2021 when we used Sharps Auto Glass as our space to practice for our 200-hour teacher training. A few like-minded individuals came together with the intention of creating a space where people from all walks of life could come together to experience the transformative power of yoga.
Driven by the desire to cultivate a sense of community and well-being the idea of Joy began to emerge. After identifying a quaint space in the heart of Alicetown, we spent countless hours renovating and transforming it into a serene and welcoming sanctuary where individuals could embark on their yoga journey.
With unwavering determination and a deep-rooted belief in the benefits of yoga, welcoming newcomers with open arms and embracing each individual as part of the growing community. Through grassroots efforts and word-of-mouth, the studio began to attract a diverse group of individuals seeking solace, healing, and a shared sense of purpose.
Over the past 2 years, our community yoga studio has flourished, thanks to the steadfast commitment and believe in the practice of yoga and the unwavering support of our dedicated members. What began as a modest endeavor has evolved into a cherished space where individuals come to reconnect with themselves, forge meaningful connections, and embark on a journey of self-discovery.
As we continue to evolve and expand, we remain committed to preserving the inclusive and nurturing environment that has been at the heart of our studio since its inception. Our small community yoga studio stands as a testament to the power of collective vision, perseverance, and the profound impact that a dedicated group of individuals can have in shaping the lives of others through the practice of yoga.
